In general, I believe that are 3 pillars to health & self mastery (with many layers within each), and I love to utilize components from each pillar to create powerful programs, courses, customized treatment plans & programs for my clients to ensure the best results for them. Everything I do is with a holistic lens. Health & well-being are multi-faceted, and for any truly lasting change to take place, a multi-facted approach must be taken.
Pillar 1: Master Your Body
Mastering your body doesn't mean reaching a goal weight (even though so many people believe this to be the case). Mastering your body incorporates layers of elements, such as:
- a higer level of fitness to include strength, endurance & agility
- aligned nutrition (understanding what to eat, how, when and why)
- a healthy relationship with your body
- proper supplements
- flexibility / mobility
A healthy, happy body is one free of pain, inflammation, imbalance & illness. It is one that can move how you want to move it, when you want to move it. It allows you freedom & vitality.
And yes, this is a possibility for you.
Pillar 2: Master Your Mind
Mastering your mind comes from a combination of positive psychology, a committment to post-traumatic growth, being the guardian of your thoughts, and expanding your current limits through shifting negative, false beliefs.
In the 11 years I have been working with women, one thing has become apparent to me - if the psychology isn't addressed, the same thought patterns & deep rooted beliefs will keep people stuck where they are.
Psychology MUST be worked on if the goal of long-term and sustainable change is on the radar. The magic truly happens when people begin shifting their stories, taking back control of their mind, and proceeding with a growth mindset.
Pillar 3: Master Your Spirit
Spirit. Heart. Emotions. Psychospirituality. I use all terms interchangeably here.
Part of this pillar involves being able to differentiate between your own voice vs others. It is a practice of hearing your heart over logic and honouring what it is saying. It is about building a deep emotional resliency so that you can thrive even amongst chaos. It is a heart that stays open in the face of the darkest battles, and a willingness to self reflect instead of blaming. It is understanding & knowing what is YOUR truth, and aligning the rest of your words and actions accordingly.
It is here you grow, rise & expand, becoming a better version of who you used to be (or maybe a more aligned version).
